El Papagayo

Valencia / 2017

El Papagayo, due to its small size and its location in the flat Carmen neighborhood, needed a particularly sophisticated interior design that was in keeping with the building that houses it and the gastronomy, with good products, sometimes traditional, but always with a presentation very careful.

The powerful color scheme, with English green as the protagonist, achieves the objective to let the Italian ceramics and porcelains do the rest. The gilding, on part of the seating, the mirrors, the bar or even the art deco lamps, was necessary. The wood, sometimes not so treated, of the tables and some chairs, manages to give modernity and warmth to a very Mediterranean, very palatial and cosmopolitan atmosphere.

The constant darkness of the low lighting manages to create intimacy and that The atmosphere is especially warm and welcoming, but above all very chic. Having breakfast, lunch or dinner at El Papayo is quite an experience.
