Llucatx Menorca

Menorca / 2023

Rehabilitation of an old farm to give life to a boutique hotel with 18 rooms, restaurant, swimming pool and event area, preserving characteristic island materials such as clay floors, wooden beams or original tiles.

A Sustainable Interior Design project in which it has been possible to take advantage of materials and raw materials from the enclave itself, avoiding linear consumption when designing the rooms and rooms of the hotel.

“We were faced with a blank canvas to be able to work on sustainability and interior design in every corner of the hotel”

An interior design which through creativity has achieved a very powerful aesthetic transformation and has allowed a second life for hundreds of existing pieces.

After a prior selection and an exhaustive study to make the most of all the available furniture, under the motto “Nothing is thrown away, everything is transformed” more than 550 pieces of furniture have been restored, giving life to new headboards, nightstands, restoration chairs, mirrors, footboards, desks…
A sustainable hotel characterized by the eclectic mix of Menorcan essence together with a sophisticated aesthetic. Fusing the old with a delicate restoration, the spaces have been worked through the concept of circularity and transformation of existing furniture, avoiding generating an amount of unnecessary waste.
