Café Madrid
Valencia / 2018
Café Madrid, the inspiring epicenter of this project, is uniquely integrated into Marqués House, fusing classic and contemporary styles, evoking the 1920s and industrial elements. The duality between the comfortable and chic, the cosmopolitan and traditional, is achieved through wooden walls along with industrial installations on display under a gray painted ceiling.
Nostalgic elements, such as old stained glass windows, paintings Recovered from the old Café Madrid, tufted armchairs in grayish tones, an aged leather chesterfield and fringed lamps, transport you to the aesthetics of 20th century cafés. The set is eclectic, highlighting crystal teardrop chandeliers and pai pai fans suspended from the industrial ceiling.
Lighting plays a key role in creating a gathering atmosphere, maintaining coherence in the midst of diversity. In one corner, the presence of an orange tree pays tribute to the famous Agua de Valencia cocktail, adding a local touch to the whole.
